Project Description

MacKay Sposito partnered with The Neenan Company to deliver a new 137,000-square-foot, three-story outpatient clinic and headquarters for The Vancouver Clinic, replacing the existing facility on the same site. A key challenge was ensuring uninterrupted healthcare services during the build, which was successfully managed through a two-phase approach: construction of the new facility and parking lots, followed by demolition of the old building.

The team provided civil engineering, surveying, planning, and landscape architecture services and led coordination efforts across all sub-consultants during the entitlement process. Public infrastructure improvements included a new sanitary sewer pump station, water main upgrades, arterial street enhancements, and improved site access. MacKay Sposito’s deep knowledge of the City of Vancouver’s permitting process enabled a 90-day turnaround from pre-application to final civil approval.
