Project Description

Glenwood Hills Retirement Center is a comprehensive senior living community in Vancouver, Washington, offering 325 total units, including 83 loft-style apartments. This retirement center is designed to support a continuum of care; the development provides independent living, assisted living, and memory care facilities. MacKay Sposito played a vital role in navigating the complexities of the project, which was initially spread across multiple jurisdictions. Our team led the planning and execution of critical entitlement processes, including annexation, a comprehensive plan amendment, and a zone change. Additionally, we supported the client by helping to negotiate an interlocal agreement to streamline development approvals. Our work encompassed civil design, surveying, and complete permitting services across multiple expansion phases.
