Project Description

East Pierce Fire & Rescue’s Station 114 in Lake Tapps, Washington, was completely redeveloped to meet the community’s growing demands. The project involved demolishing the outdated fire station and several nearby structures and replacing them with a modern 10,000-square-foot facility. Designed by Rice Fergus Miller and engineered by MacKay Sposito, the new station features fire apparatus bays and whole living and sleeping quarters to support 24-hour operations.

This transformation reflects a broader commitment to upgrading emergency services infrastructure and improving response capabilities. With enhanced design and updated systems, Station 114 is better equipped to serve East Pierce Fire & Rescue and the surrounding community.
