Project Description
MacKay Sposito provided civil engineering and land use planning services for the replacement and relocation of Burton Elementary School in Vancouver, WA, for the Evergreen Public School District. The project involved demolishing existing ASC portable classrooms and covered canopies for a modern, two-story, 62,000-square-foot facility.
Working alongside LSW Architects, the team planned and designed critical site improvements, including new parking areas, play zones, and student courtyards. These outdoor features were developed in alignment with other district prototypes to maintain consistency in design and functionality across school campuses.
