We are proud to share that Juanita Rogers, landscape architect and project manager at MacKay Sposito, has been appointed to the board of directors for The Historic Trust.
The Historic Trust is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and activating historic properties on the Vancouver National Historic Reserve, including stewardship of Providence Academy. The Trust also hosts free and low-cost events that inspire civic engagement and celebrate community heritage.
“Juanita’s professional skills and her demonstrated commitment to our community make her an excellent addition to our high-functioning board,” said Temple Lentz, President & CEO of The Historic Trust.
Juanita brings 28 years of professional experience in site master planning, urban streetscapes, parks and recreation, open spaces, trails, and waterfront facilities. She leads the landscape architecture team at MacKay Sposito’s Vancouver office, guiding projects that balance design excellence, community needs, and environmental stewardship.
“In my professional work, I have dedicated my career to designing spaces that honor the past while serving the needs of the present and future,” Juanita said. “Serving on The Historic Trust’s board allows me to expand this commitment, working alongside others who are passionate about preserving Vancouver’s unique heritage.”
In addition to her professional work and new role with The Historic Trust, Juanita also serves on the board of the Camas Parks Foundation, volunteers with the Watershed Alliance of Southwest Washington, and is a former scout leader with the Boy Scouts of America. She and her husband have raised three boys at their home in Vancouver.
Please join us in congratulating Juanita Rogers on this meaningful appointment. We are inspired by her dedication to both her profession and her community, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact she will make with The Historic Trust.
